A leading international organization is entering the UAE market with a major expansion in the Facilities Management sector, starting operations in Abu Dhabi.

The company will be managing large-scale government and semi-government projects including:

• Schools
• Hospitals
• Public Parks
• Government Buildings
• Mixed-Use Facilities
• Infrastructure & Community Assets

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly connected Project Manager – Operations to lead and establish the company’s FM operations in Abu Dhabi.

This is a strategic leadership role for a candidate with strong operational expertise, UAE government project exposure, and deep understanding of the Abu Dhabi facilities management landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall FM operations across multiple projects in Abu Dhabi
• Develop operational strategies, SOPs, and service delivery frameworks
• Handle government and semi-government facility management projects
• Lead mobilization and operational setup for new contracts
• Manage large multicultural operational teams and subcontractors
• Oversee P&L, budgeting, manpower planning, and operational performance
• Build relationships with government authorities, consultants, and clients
• Support tendering, bidding, and pre-qualification processes
• Review technical proposals, costing, staffing plans, and operational compliance
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, HSE standards, and contract KPIs
• Drive operational excellence, client satisfaction, and business growth

 

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Facilities Management operations within Abu Dhabi
• Proven experience working with leading FM companies in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi government tenders and bidding processes
• Experience managing large-scale FM projects and operational teams
• Strong understanding of hard and soft FM services
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Experience handling schools, hospitals, public facilities, or government infrastructure projects is highly preferred
• Strong commercial and operational acumen
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred

 

Preferred Background

Candidates from established FM organizations within the UAE market will be highly preferred.
