🚧 Hiring: Senior Resident Engineer – High-Rise & Hospitality Projects

💰 Salary: AED 35,000 – AED 45,000 per month (depending on experience and project portfolio)

 

Nexus People, a recruitment and talent acquisition partner, has been engaged to source a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading Engineering Consultancy & Project Management company in Dubai. 

Our client is seeking an experienced construction professional to lead site supervision activities for prestigious high-rise and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction supervision, engineering consultancy, and successful delivery of complex high-rise developments. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage site supervision activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Act as the Engineer’s Representative and primary point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review and approve technical submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Lead project meetings, manage supervision teams, and provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final project handover activities. 

 

Requirements: 

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
✅ Minimum 30 years of professional experience in construction supervision, engineering consultancy, or project management.
✅ Minimum 20 years of UAE experience, preferably in Dubai.
✅ Proven experience as a Resident Engineer / Senior Resident Engineer on high-rise developments of 40+ floors.
✅ Experience with 60+ floor towers and luxury hospitality projects is highly preferred.
✅ Valid Dubai Municipality Unlimited Engineer License is mandatory.
✅ Strong knowledge of UAE Building Codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, FIDIC contracts, and construction supervision practices.
✅ Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
