ELV Technician (SIRA Certified)

Salary: AED 4,500 per month (Based on experience)

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ELV Technician to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have a valid SIRA Technician Certification and a minimum of 3 years of UAE experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems.

The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Structured Cabling, PA Systems, Wi-Fi Networks, and Gate Barrier Systems, while ensuring compliance with SIRA regulations and project requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

ELV Systems Installation & Configuration

• Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV systems (IP & Analog) from various brands.
• Configure and manage Video Management Systems (VMS) in compliance with SIRA requirements.
• Install and configure Access Control Systems, including biometric and card access solutions.
• Install and commission Intercom Systems, Audio & Video Door Phones, and related devices.
• Install and configure Public Address (PA) Systems and associated equipment.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi systems and network infrastructure.

Structured Cabling & Network Infrastructure

• Perform structured cabling installations including CAT6, CAT6A, Fiber Optic, patch panels, and network racks.
• Conduct cable termination, labeling, testing, and certification.
• Maintain organized documentation of network and ELV installations.

Gate Barrier & Security Systems

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot gate barriers and vehicle access control systems.
• Ensure all security system installations meet client requirements and industry standards.

Site Surveys & Technical Support

• Conduct site surveys and provide technical recommendations.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material requirements.
• Read and interpret ELV drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Execute installations according to approved drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and clients during project execution.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Diagnose and resolve faults in ELV and networking systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and handover stages.

 

Requirements

Mandatory

• Valid SIRA Technician Certification
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience as an ELV Technician
• UAE Driving License preferred
• Strong understanding of ELV drawings and technical documentation

• Experience in testing and commissioning ELV systems
